Welcome to your Lion’s Breath practice.
Lion’s Breath, known in Sanskrit as Simhasana, is a traditional yogic breathing technique that invites us to release tension, reconnect with our breath, and let go.
Throughout our lives, we hold tension in our bodies, particularly in the face, jaw, neck, and throat. Sometimes we don’t even realize how much we’re holding on to.
Lion’s Breath encourages us to release that tension through a powerful, audible exhalation.
Unlike many breathing practices that emphasize quiet, controlled breathing, Lion’s Breath invites us to make sound, express ourselves, and release what we no longer need to carry.
There is no perfect way to practice. Simply allow yourself to breathe, release, and experience the freedom of letting go.
